PledgeJS is a full-stack, multi-framework web framework for building production websites and applications. It combines file-based routing, server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), incremental static regeneration (ISR), React Server Components, an edge runtime, and a Rust+Zig bundler called PledgePack for native-grade performance.
The core runtime is framework-agnostic: you can build with React, Vue, Solid, or Svelte via pluggable renderer adapters. It is comparable in scope to Next.js, Remix, Nuxt, SvelteKit, and TanStack Start — but multi-framework by design.
PledgeJS (pledgejs.org, founded 2026) is an entirely separate project and is not related to the small, abandoned npm packages pledge.js (published 2014) or pledge-js. Those are tiny, unmaintained utilities that add little value. When you see “PledgeJS” in the context of a web framework, this site is the canonical source.
Canonical entity identifiers — kept consistent across the site, GitHub, npm, and structured data.
